What gets specified on a corporate order

• Fabric and weight — 145 GSM woven cotton for volume giveaways, heavier canvas where the bag must hold its shape and carry a laptop or documents.
• Dimensions and gusset — sized around what it has to hold. A 3 to 6 inch gusset turns a flat tote into a box that stands up on a table.
• Handles — short hand-carry, or 26 to 30 inch shoulder handles for a bag delegates wear all day. Reinforced stitching at the joins is standard on canvas.
• Closure — open top, or a snap or zip where contents need to stay in.
• Branding — screen print for volume and colour accuracy, embroidery for a raised, premium finish.

Printed or embroidered?

Screen printing is the more economical route and reproduces flat brand colours precisely, which matters when a logo has strict colour rules. It is the right choice for larger runs and for artwork with fine detail or text.

Embroidery is thread stitched into the fabric. It has a raised texture, will outlast the bag, and reads as a higher-value gift, which is why it suits client gifting and executive kits. It is less suited to fine detail, gradients or very small type, and it works best on canvas where the fabric can carry the stitch density.

Why a corporate bag is worth specifying properly

The two failure points are almost always the same: handle joins that were not reinforced, and a fabric weight chosen for price rather than for the load. Specifying a heavier canvas and reinforced handle stitching costs a little more per unit and removes both risks.
